Can one person change the World?

November 29th, 2006 by matildarox28 in Uncategorized · No Comments

Can one person change the world?Yes I believe one person can change the world by influencing another person’s opinion therefore changing the way people think. An example of this is:

     1.    One person can change the world by writing songs that are influencing. Example: “I wish I was a Punk Rocker with Flowers in My Hair!” and the “Free Hugs” film clip on utube.

2.     The leader of Al Qaeda, which is Osma Bin Lardin, who we believe was behind the September 11 terrorist attacks. The way he change the world was that he again introduced terrorism into our society. Since September there has been more attacks like that of the
Bali bombings.

He has changed our world in a bad way not a good way!

Technology Things You Can’t Live Without!

November 26th, 2006 by matildarox28 in Uncategorized · No Comments

There are many things in today’s society that you can’t live without.

Many people will say that they can’t live with out there mobile phones because they are a vital part of communication in there lives.

I live on a farm and I would say that the most important part of technology on our farm is our tractors, Ute, the bus and mainly our header. This machinery is our main income. The header is the machine which strips our crop which is our prim income.

In conclusion the machinery on our farm is the most important part of technology.

Photostory and Persistance!

November 26th, 2006 by matildarox28 in Uncategorized · 3 Comments

When we did our photostories my partner was Jayden. At first i didn’t think that we would well together at all, but amazing we did. We had everything that the criteria said that we had to have. There were a few times that I could have screamed but I thought of persistence and the end.                                                                                                Jayden and I got a great mark and finished the task on time.

The Big Question?

October 29th, 2006 by matildarox28 in Uncategorized · No Comments

What can we learn from the Internet?1.        Geography2.        Culture3.        History

What are the three main things you need to know about the internet?1.     that it is a big place2.    That not everything read is true3.    You can find or do anything on the internet, BUT it may not always be correct.

Learning from the Internet1. Where do you think this man is standing?I think that he is standing on top of the world trade centre, before the plane hit. But I’m not sure if I believe it.

2. Quote one person’s opinion about the first Male Pregnancy. Do you agree or disagree?“I’ve dreamed about this my entire life. Sign me up!”I totally disagree .This is sick experiment that has gone to far. It is against everything that nature is!3. What two animals crossed to create the very rare Jackalope?                                                                                  It is a cross between the now extinct pygmy-deer and a species of killer rabbit 4. What life form has been discovered on Mars?                       According to this picture the first life mars was a person by the name of Elvis. This site  as good for a laugh.

THE BIG QUESTION

People used to think that learning was all about gaining information and memorizing facts. We hope you’ve learned something a little more important in this Knowledge Hunt. Remember, with so much info exploding all around us, finding a nugget of knowledge is important but understanding what you see is critical. The important thing about the internet isn’t to believe everything you read or see.

Kahootz Questions?

September 3rd, 2006 by matildarox28 in Uncategorized · No Comments

What were we expected to do?

We were expected to make our own world in Kahootz. We were expected to make it realistic but with a bit of imagination.

In this Kahootz assignment what did you do well?

In this assignment the things that I did well were that I kept it realistic with out going completely over the top but still had imagination.

If you had the task again what would you do differently?

If I had to do this task again the things that I would do differently would be to plan my world a bit more than what I did.

Had more scenes and little things like that.

What help do you need from your teachers?

At the moment nothing but soon I guess I would have some questions.

hello

these are the results from my learning Styles:

ACT  X                                                REF
           11  9   7   5   3   1   1   3   5   7   9   11

      SEN                  X                                INT
           11  9   7   5   3   1   1   3   5   7   9   11

      VIS                  X                                VRB
           11  9   7   5   3   1   1   3   5   7   9   11

      SEQ                      X                            GLO
           11  9   7   5   3   1   1   3   5   7   9   11

i’m a very high active learner, fairly well balanced visuale and verbal and also a fairly well balanced  sensing and intuitive.

i’m also a fairly well balanced sequential and global learner

here are the scales:

  • If your score on a scale is 1-3, you are fairly well balanced on the two dimensions of that scale.
  • If your score on a scale is 5-7, you have a moderate preference for one dimension of the scale and will learn more easily in a teaching environment which favors that dimension.
  • If your score on a scale is 9-11, you have a very strong preference for one dimension of the scale. You may have real difficulty learning in an environment which does not support that preference.
